Dewhurst, Mary (1796 - 1879)

Died, in Neillsville, Clark County, August 15th, 1879, Mrs. Mary Dewhurst, aged 83 years and 12 days.

Deceased was born near Manchester, England, in the year 1796. She came to this country in the year 1827, residing in the state of Massachusetts seven years, and then removed to Ohio, where she has since resided, living on one farm forty-six years. At the time of her death she was visiting her son, Judge R. Dewhurst, of this place. She had been here about two months during nearly all of which time she was in very ill health.
