Zimmerman, Armin (1905 - 1980)

Funeral services for Armin J. Zimmerman, 74, of Route 1, Unity, were conducted by Rev. Clem Dozer at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21 at Salem United Methodist Church, Dorchester.

Mr. Zimmerman died at 5:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 1980, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Interment was in the Town of Beaver Cemetery. Rux-Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, was in charge of arrangements.

Armin J. Zimmerman was born to Ethan and Emma Zimmerman on July 26, 1905, in the Town of Unity, Clark County.

He farmed in the town of Unity all of his life. He never married.

He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Dorchester.

Survivors include one sister, Miss Laura Zimmerman of Route 1, Unity and four brothers, Ethan of Route 1, Unity, John of Oshkosh, Sam of Minneapolis, Minn., and Emanuel of Route 1, Unity.

Serving as pallbearers were David Zimmerman, Ken Reckner, Dr. Perry Arndt, Jeff Thompson, David Larson and Kevin Boyer.

He was preceded in death by one sister and his parents.
