Ringquist, Evelyn (1920 - 1980)

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1980, at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Lloyd (Evelyn) Ringquist, 59, 107 W. Clark St., Spencer, who passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Saturday, Jan. 26, 1980 at 10:30 a.m.

Burial took place in West Spencer Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Strong officiating.

The former Evelyn Meacham was born in the Town of Unity, Clark County, on Nov. 30, 1920, to the late Edward and Mildred (Wichman) Meacham. She received her education in Spencer schools and from the Wisconsin Cosmetology Institute, Milwaukee. She married Lloyd Ringquist on July 24, 1947, at Unity, and owned and operated Spencer Beauty Shop for over 30 years.

She was a member of Spencer United Methodist Church and served on various committees in the church.

Surviving her are her husband, Lloyd her mother, Mrs. Mildres Meacham, Spencer, a son, Paul, Waukesha and one daughter, Diane.
