Landini, Mary (1902 - 1980)


Funeral services for Mary (Marie) Landini, 78, of 312 North Reese, Greenwood, Clark County, were conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood.


Mrs. Landini died at 11:35 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 1980 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Officiating at the service was Rev. Michael Mertens. A Rosary was said at 8 p.m., Friday, May 9. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Mary Perkol was born on March 11, 1902 in Pueblo, Col. To Joseph and Mary Perkol and received her education at Gorman Grade School, Willard.
She was married to Louis Landini on Aug. 3, 1922. After their marriage they lived in Duluth and later Chicago before moving to a farm in the Town of Hendren in 1948. They farmed until 1960, coming to the City of Greenwood in 1971.


She was a member of St. Mary's Church.


Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Lucille) Kaltinger of Willard and Mrs. Nick (Virginia) Petmezar of Chicago three sons, Richard of Chicago, Louis of Greenwood and Ralph of Willard six brothers, Felix of Willard, Edward of Willard, Fred of Willard, Albert of New Orleans, Louis of Marshfield and Charles of Lac du Flanbeau one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Olga) Zimmerman of Cleveland, Ohio 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


Preceding her in death were her husband in 1959 one son Robert one sister and one brother.


Serving as pallbearers were Pat, Dion, Dominic and Robert Landini and Karen and Susan Kaltinger.
