Cramer, Lorena (1904 - 1980)
Funeral services for Lorena Cramer, 75, of 104 West Main street,
Spencer, were conducted at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, on
Friday, May 30 at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Cramer died at Sacred Heart Hospital, Tomahawk, on Tuesday,
May 27, 1980 at 1:30 p.m.
Officiating at the services was Rev. William Ruhbusch. Interment
was in the church cemetery.
Lorena Krause was born Dec. 10, 1904, in the Town of Unity, Clark
County to the late Herman and Amanda (nee Mellenthin) Krause.
She was married to Lenard E. Cramer on July 2, 1924 in Spencer.
She and her husband owned and operated Korth Corners Cheese Factory
before moving to Spencer, where they worked for Dairy Belt until
retiring.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its ladies aid,
where she held several offices.
Surviving her are two sons, Gerald of Spencer and Elroy of
Clintonville two daughters, Mrs. Gil (Angeline) Colrud of Waukesha
and Mrs. William (Ermine) Wyman of Kewaunee 10 grandchildren six
great-grandchildren one brother, Ervin of Clyman, Wis. and two
sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Wiesman of Stratford and Mrs.
Allen (Lillian) Dietsche of Marshfield.
She was predeceased by her husband on Jan. 18, 1980, one brother,
two sisters and one grandchild.
Tim Doty, Mark Krause, David Bruesewitz, Ken Neumann, Arvid Cramer
and Jim Willner served as pallbearers.
A family service was held on Thursday evening at 9 p.m. Rux Funeral
Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
