Bauer, Mark J. (1962 - 1980)
Funeral services for Mark J. Bauer, 18, route 1, Greenwood, Clark
County, were conducted by Rev. James Logan at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church Loyal, at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 29.
Mrs. Bauer was killed in a motorcycle-pickup accident on Saturday,
July 26, 1980.
A Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary was said at 3:30 p.m. and
a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8:30 p.m., Monday, July 28.
Interment was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Tim Brussow,
David Kernz, Paul Schreiner, Rich Mews, Larry Delo and Lon Gardner.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
Mark Bauer was born on May 11, 1962, in Marshfield. He received his
education at St. Anthony's Parochial School and graduated in May
from Loyal High School.
He was a member of the FFA and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Surviving him are his parents, Robert and Elaine Bauer, Route 1,
Greenwood four brothers, Dennis of Route 1, Greenwood, David of
Route 2, Loyal and Wayne and Doug, both at home five sisters, Mrs.
Mark (JoAnn) Adams of Rochester, Minn., Mrs. Gene (Bobbie) Johnson
of Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Tom (Lonnie) Duell of Loyal, Mrs. Ken
(Sharrie) Volovsek of Willard and Lori at home and his
step-grandmother, Mrs. Clara White of Loyal.
