Peskator, Valeria (1921 - 1980)
Valeria Peskator, 58, of Waukegan, Ill., died Aug. 16, 1980, at her
home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1921, in Willard, Clark County, and had been a
Waukegan resident for 40 years. She was a veteran of World War II,
having served as an aviation machinist mate, second class.
She was a member of Lake County American Legion Post No. 11 - 22
and the Boy Scout Northeastern Illinois Council. She was employed
at the Lake County Courthouse, retiring after 25 years of service
as a secretary in the state attorney s office and deputy circuit
court clerk.
Surviving are her husband, Howard one son, Henry (Angel) Peskator
of Zion and brothers and sisters, Mary Koschak and Ella Brence,
both of Waukegan Anton Janezic of Oak Park, Ill., Hedwig
Hemmersbach of Greenwood, Roslyn Geiger of Seattle, Wash., Albina
Helmick and Stanley Janezic, both of Waukegan, Dorothy Cramer of
Liberal, Mo., Robert Janezic of North Chicago and Henry Janezic of
Willard.
Funeral Mass was at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Dismas Church.
Interment was in Ascension Cemetery.
