Sell, Fred (1919 - 1980)
Fred Sell, 61, of Route 3, Medford, formerly of the Town of Beaver,
Clark County, died early Thursday morning, Sept. 11, 1980 at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13 at
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Rev. Sam Kochel officiated and interment
was in the Town of Beaver Cemetery.
Fred Sell was born on May 26, 1919 in the Town of Beaver to the
later Herman and Leona (nee Pieper) Sell and received his education
at a rural Town of Beaver School.
He married Leaora Porter on Oct. 21, 1948, in Loyal.
They farmed in the Town of Beaver until 1971, when they moved to
Riplinger, where they lived until 1973. He was employed by
Pathfinder Mobile Homes in Spencer for four years.
They moved to Medford in 1973. He worked for Herds Mill Worked at
Medford for two years and for the City of Medford for three
years.
Surviving are his wife two sons, Carl and William, both at home one
brother, Hilbert of Sparta two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Selma) Porter
of Loyal and Mrs. Adele Edmison of Tomah and one grandson.
Preceding him in death were one daughter, Donna and one
brother.
Serving as pallbearers were Clifford, Robert, Gary and Jim Porter,
Donald Ramm and William Edmison. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in
charge of arrangements.
