Gorsegner, Florence (1909 - 1980)
Florence Gorsegner, 71, of 955 S. Camino, Guarina, Green Valley,
Ariz., died on Tuesday morning, Oct. 7, 1980, at the emergency room
of St. Mary's Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Rev. Joseph R. Kraly officiated and
interment was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Florence Brown was born on July 14, 1909, in Wauwatosa and received
her education at Stanley school.
She married Clarence Gorsegner on May 30, 1930, at St. Paul,
Minn.
After her marriage, she taught school at Hixton and Stanley. She
worked for the government as a census taker for several years and
her husband was employed as district attorney for Clark County.
They moved to Arizona in 1977.
She was active in the Garden Club.
Surviving her are her husband, Clarence one sister, Mrs. Floyd
(Gwen) Fauber of Tiffin, Ohio one brother, James Brown of Stanley
and three grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was one son, Everett, who died on March 30,
1969, and six brothers.
Ralph Schober, Clarence Henchen, Mike Weyhmiller, Dr. W. L. Lee,
Fred Barr and Steve Brussow served as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral
Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
