Mikolajczyk, Betty (1925 - 1980)


Mrs. Betty Mikolajczyk, 54, of rural Owen, Clark County, died Monday morning, Oct. 20, 1980, at 12:05 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a lingering illness.


Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen, with Rev. Richard Fliss officiating. Burial was at the Greenwood Cemetery.


Betty Acker was born Dec. 19, 1925, in the Town of Warner to Haxel and Paul Acker. She attended the Greenwood Area Schools.


On May 27, 1950, she married Richard Mikolajczyk of Milwaukee. After her marriage she worked as a paint artist in Milwaukee for two years, then worked in the same capacity for Keel Photography in Marshfield.


She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Owen.


Her husband survives, along with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Acker of Greenwood and two brothers, Richard of Greenwood and Ted of Medford.
