Pipkorn, Vern (1918 - 1980)
Vern Pipkorn, 62, formerly of the Town of Beaver, Clark County, who
has been residing for the past four years at Memorial Home,
Neillsville, died Friday evening, Nov. 21, 1980, at about 11:30
p.m. at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.
Private graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at
the Town of Beaver Cemetery, with Rev. Donald Adams officiating.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled the arrangements.
Vern Pipkorn was born on Sept. 3, 1918 in the Town of Beaver to the
late Arthur and Clara (nee Cammers) Pipkorn. He received his
education at a rural Town of Beaver School and attended the Owen
High School.
In his early years he worked for the railroad.
He was married to Odette Ampe on April 15, 1939 and later
divorced.
Surviving him are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Gehery of
Levittown, Pa. one son, James of Tucson, Ariz. two grandchildren
three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Cora) Pacholke of Hayward, Mrs. Olive
Steffens of Florida and Mrs. Rhoda Vogel of Greenwood.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
