Kanneberg, Mae (1898 - 1980)

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. in Schram-Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, for Mae Kanneberg, 82, of 2100 East Sixth St., Merrill.

Mrs. Kanneberg died Tuesday evening, Nov. 25, 1980, in Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.

Officiating was Rev. Donald Schulz, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Loyal Cemetery, Clark County.

Mae Severt was born on April 6, 1898, in Merrill to Steve and Bella Severt.

She married Alfred Kanneberg in Merrill on May 10, 1919. He died on Jan. 24, 1971.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill.

Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Marcella) Geiss of Route 3, Merrill and Mrs. Duane (Dorothy) Neuman of Unity two sons, Kenneth of Phillips and Edwin of Rockford, Ill. two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Mabel) Sherfinski of Merrill and Ida Becker of Wausau two brothers, Arthur Severt of Merrill and William Severt of Concord, Calif. 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Schram-Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, was in charge of arrangements.
