Voelker, Dora (1889 - 1981)

Funeral services for Dora Voelker, 91, of 4100 Portage Av., Milwaukee, were at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 7, at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer.

Mrs. Voelker, a former Spencer resident, died at BelAire Convalescent Center, Milwaukee, on Thursday, March 5, 1981.

Officiating at the service was Rev. David Ault. Interment was in the church Cemetery. Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.

Dora Luepke was born on Aug. 26, 1889 in the Township of Unity, Clark County, to the late Carl and Whilmeia Luepke and received her education at Little Brook School in the Town of Unity.

She married John Voelker at St. John's Lutheran Church, North Spencer, on March 29, 1911. He died on July 19, 1965.

Surviving her are one son, Maynard of Spencer; three daughters, Mrs. Bartlet (Vila) Olson of Milwaukee; Mrs. Sylvia Salmon of Milwaukee; and Lorraine Voelker of Wis. Rapids; 13 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren five great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Cramer of Spencer; and Mrs. Alvina Oelrich of Abbotsford.
