Wilke, Penelope (1960 - 1981)


Funeral services for Edward C., Penelope Lee and Jennifer Lee Wilke will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 19 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, Clark County.


Rev. James Logan will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.


They were killed at about 11 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 1981, when their car collided with another on Highway 13, south of Spencer.


The bodies will lie in state at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday morning until the time of service.


A Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary will be said at 3:15 p.m. a Prayer Service at 8:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 18.


Penelope (Penni) Foster was born on Oct. 3, 1960, in Phillips to Donald and Jacki (nee Baratka) Foster. She graduated in 1978 from Marshfield Senior High School.


She married Edward Wilke in Loyal on Sept. 27, 1980. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the Tri-County Bank at Marshfield.


She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal.


She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Foster of Marshfield; her grandparents, Mrs. Leona Baratka of Phillips; and Mr. and Mrs. David Foster of Phillips; one brother, Mark of Appleton; and two sisters, Kelli and Jodi of Marshfield.


Pallbearers will be Larry Baratka, Bob Baratka, Darin Baratka, Tim Manske, Tom Manske and Tom Olson.


Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is handling the arrangements.
