Bruesewitz, Nellie A. (1895 - 1981)
Nellie A. Bruesewitz, 85, of colonial House
of Colby, died at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, march 14, 1981, at the
Colonial House of Colby, Clark County.
Services were on Tuesday, March 17, at 1:30 p.m., at Zion Lutheran
Church, Colby. Rev. robin O Fink officiated and interment was in
the West Spencer Cemetery.
Nellie Stowe was born on Aug. 20, 1895, in Oakfield, Fond du Lac
County, to the late George and Anna (nee Quackenbush) Stowell.
She married Fredrick H. Bruesewitz on Dec. 13, 1919, in Spencer.
They farmed at Route 1, Spencer.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby.
Surviving her are two sons, Wilmar A. of Lenoir, N.C.; and
Fredrick, Jr. of Marshfield; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Bertha)
Steinwagner of Unity; 16 grandchildren and 15
great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two children her parents and two
sisters.
Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.
