Bannach, John A. (1905 - 1981)
John A. Bannach, 75, of Loyal, Clark County,
died at about 7 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 1981.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 3, at St.
Anthony's catholic Church, Loyal. Rev. James Logan will officiate
and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
The body will lie in state at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, after 3
p.m., Thursday, April 2. A 3:15 P.C.C.W. Rosary will be said and a
7:30 p.m. Prayer Service on Thursday, April 2.
John Bannach was born to John S. and Clara (nee Nowak) Bannach on
May 14, 1905, in Edgar, and received his education at a rural Town
of York School.
He married Mable Sanders in 1931.
He farmed in the Loyal area for a number of years and worked for
A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for 20 years. He retired in 1967 and moved
to Loyal.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Surviving him are two sons, John J. of Chili and Donald W. of Chili
one daughter, Miss Maureen Bannach of Milwaukee four sisters, Mrs.
Francis (Lillian) Shefchik of Rhinelander, Mrs. Laurence (Loretta)
Cowles of Stevens Point, Mrs. Mary sanders of Milwaukee and Mrs.
Clara Becker of Wheaton, Ill. one brother, George of Milwaukee four
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal is handling the arrangements.
