Harder, Karen L. (1940 - 1981)
Karen L. Harder, Kenosha, Wis., died Feb. 6,
1981, in Kenosha.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 1981,
at the Hansen Funeral Home, Kenosha. The Rev. Gary Evans of First
Congregational Church officiated and interment was at the Sunset
Ridge Memorial Park.
Karen Harder was born Dec. 19, 1940, to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Neuman
at Loyal, Clark County, Wis. She attended Loyal Schools.
In May of 1959, she went to work in Milwaukee. In 1960, she married
Alan Harder and moved to Kenosha. She was working at American
Motors at the time of her death.
Surviving her are three daughters, Lisa, Kenosha, DeaAnna and
Jenni, at home her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Harold (Viola) Neuman of
Loyal; three brothers, Jerry of New Castle, Col.; Jack of
Marysville, Cal.; And Jan of Jackson, Tenn.; two sisters, Jean
Grisham of Hickam AFB, Hawaii; and Kay Schlagenhaft of Loyal.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Pallbearers were Mitchel Schlagenhaft, Ronnie Smith, Herb
Turnquist, Alan Harder, John Rickter and Paul Anderson.
