Streich, Edward (1906 - 1981)
Edward Streich, 74, of Route 2, Spencer, Town of Sherman, Clark
County, was stricken with an apparent heart attack while changing a
tire south of Loyal on Highway K at about 7:30 p.m., Saturday,
April 25, 1981.
Services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, at Rinka Funeral
Home, Loyal. Rev. Charles Sanford officiated and interment was in
the Loyal Cemetery.
Edward Streich was born on April 30, 1906, in Kenosha and received
his education at Kenosha Schools.
He married Reva Collinson at Harvard, Ill., on Dec. 1, 1951.
He was a self-employed carpenter in Illinois all his life, until he
retired and moved to the Spencer area in 1970.
He was a member of Loyal American Legion and was a World War II
Veteran.
Survivors include his wife one daughter, Miss Mary Louise Streich
of Spencer one brother, Cliff of Belvidere, Ill. two sisters, Mrs.
Eva John of Malta, Ohio and Mrs. Alma Kehler of Kenosha four
brothers and two sisters.
Full military rites were conducted by the Loyal American Legion
Post. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
