Bushman, Mary (1890 - 1981)
Mary Bushman, 91, of Route 2, Loyal, Town of Eaton, Clark County,
died Sunday morning, May 3, 1981, at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield. She had been admitted April 24.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Michael Mertens officiated
and burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
A Prayer Service was conducted at 8 p.m., and a Knights of Columbus
Rosary at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 5.
Serving as pallbearers were David, Alan, Steven, Edward, Dennis and
Keith Bushman, all grandsons. Rinka Funeral Home handled
arrangements.
Mary Lindner was born on Feb. 22, 1890, in Millston, Wis. She
received her education at rural schools in Millston.
She married John Bushman on Jan. 9, 1917. After their marriage they
farmed for one year in the Town of Warner, then moved in 1919 to
the Town of Eaton and farmed there all their lives.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John, on Feb. 13, 1948
four brothers two sisters her parents, Matthew and Anna (nee
Schober) Lindner and one grandson.

Bushman, Mary (22 February 1890 - 3 May 1981)
LOYAL -- Mrs. Mary Bushman, 91, Route 2, town of Eaton, died Sunday at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. She was a patient at Marshfield Convalescent
Center prior to being admitted to the hospital April 24.
The funeral will be Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, with
burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Michael Mertens is to officiate. Friends
may call at Rinka Funeral Home.
The former Mary Lindner was born Februaury 22, 1890 in Millston and attended
rural school there. On January 9, 1917, she married John Bushman, who died
February 13, 1948. The couple farmed in the town of Warner one year, and in 1919
moved to the town of Eaton to farm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic
Church and St. Ann's Society.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dalbert (Virginia) Mondloch of Greenwood; three
sons, Arthur and Aloysius, both of Greenwood; one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Anna)
Denk of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Four brothers,
two sisters and one grandson are deceased.
Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be David, Alan, Steven, Edward, Dennis and
Keith Bushman.
