Finck, Wilma I. (1921 - 2002)
Wilma I. Willie Finck, 80, Granton, died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2002,
at the House of the Dove, Marshfield. Visitation will be held for
one hour preceding a 1 p.m. memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 12,
at the York Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Evan G.
Butterbrodt will officiate. A private graveside service will be
held at a later date.
Wilma I. Rousey was born on June 16, 1921, in Wapella, Ill., to
James and Edna (nee Lighthall) Rousey. She grew up in the Belvidere
and Marengo, Ill., area. She married Frederick W. Finck on Nov. 25,
1939, in Davenport, Iowa. They lived in Illinois until moving to
the Granton, Clark County area in 1957. She enjoyed meeting and
talking with people while fishing and attending auctions and
rummage sales.
Survivors include four children, Frederick W. (Patricia) Finck Jr.,
Neillsville, Donald E. (Phyllis) Finck, Greenwood, Shirley A.
Kundinger, Hartford, and Elmer J. (Carol) Finck, Greenwood 15
grandchildren 30 great-grandchildren and one sister, Marie
Heidenreich, Hesperia, Calif.
Preceding her in death were her husband her parents three brothers
one sister and one great-grandson.
Memorials may be sent to the House of the Dove, Marsh-field.
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin is assisting the family with
arrangements.
