Ward, Florence T. (1921 - 2002)
Florence T. (nee Theisen) Ward, 80, South Milwaukee, formerly of
Loyal, Clark County, died on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002. A Mass of
Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 12, at St.
Sylvester Church, South Milwaukee. The Rev. Ronald Gramza, the Rev.
Justin Kane and Deacon Andrew Muler officiated. Burial was in Holy
Sepulcher Cemetery. She was a 1939 Loyal High School graduate. She
was an active member of St. Sylvester Parish and its liturgy
committee and choir. She was a former teacher at South Milwaukee
High School.
Survivors include four children, Patty (Tony) Antony, John
(Elizabeth) Ward, Robert (Ann) Ward, and Kathleen (Dan) Stemper 12
grandchildren two brothers, William (Ethelyn) Theisen, Loyal, and
Dr. Charles (Carol) Theisen three sisters, Mary (Fritz)
Theisen-Helm, Beth (Jerome) Johnson, and Barbara (Homer) Betts two
sisters-in-law, Dorothy Theisen and Eleanor Ward nieces nephews and
other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James E. Ward three
brothers, Leo Theisen, Raymond Theisen and Abbott Jerome Theisen,
O.S.B. and one sister, Eleanor.
