Leon E. Copet
A Clark County native, Leon E. Copet, 67 of Pearson and formerly of Fond du Lac, died June 25 at Wausau Hospital Center. He was born Jan. 7, 1914 in the town of Unity, Clark County, to Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Lillian Fuller) Copet.
On July 22, 1939, he married Mae L. Bauer at Neillsville. He owned and operated C H Applicators for 25 years and Luco Boat Livery for 14 years, both in Fond Du Lac. He later was employed there by Mid-State Aluminum Co. for 15 years, retiring March 3, 1979.
Surviving are his wife two sons, Thomas of Sturgeon Bay and Gerald of Fond du Lac six grandchildren a brother, Arnold of Menasha and four sisters, Mrs. Ray (Lila) Hoffman of Westfield, Mrs. Ben (Agnes) Breuer of Unity, Mrs. Ben (Leora) Krueger of Withee and Mrs. Elmer (Cecily) Hickethier of Portage.
