Matter, Thomas W. (1946 - 2002)


SHEBOYGAN FALLS - Thomas W. Matter, 55, of N7427 Hwy. 32, Sheboygan Falls, died Sunday, February 10, 2002, at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Born April 23, 1946, In Marshfield, WI, Thomas was a son of Walter and Delores Sautner Matter. On June 21, 1969, he was united in marriage to Jeanne Braun in Greenwood, WI.

Tom was employed by Kohler Company for 31 years and was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and served the congregation as an Elder. Tom enjoyed biking, hunting, fishing, building birdhouses and loved being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne four children, Kimberly (Marcus) Schave, Kohler, Chris (Shelby) Matter, Sheboygan, Stephanie Matter, Waukesha, Lindsay Matter, Sheboygan Falls his parents, Walter and Delores Matter, Spencer two brothers, Michael (Barbara) Matter, Appleton, Joe (Patty) Matter, Spencer two sisters, Peg (Brian) Gehrke, Marshfield, Jenny (Bryan) Nehring, Green Bay other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2002, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3328 North Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services.

A memorial fund has been established in his name.
