Dorn, Dale Calvin (1909-1990)

Dale C. Dorn, 80, formerly of New Lisbon, died on Wednesday, Aug 29, 1990, at the Colonial Nursing Home in Colby, Clark County.

The son of Mamie (Rondorf) and Archie Dorn was born on Nov. 9, 1909, in Spokane, WA. Dorn graduated from Loyal High School in 1928. He was employed for several years for the Milwaukee Telephone Company and also worked for the Northwestern Barrel Co. In 1947 he came to New Lisbon where he operated DC Dorn Barrel Co. until 1975.

Survivors include a sister, Lucille (Mrs. Ansel) Peterson of Marshfield and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Mamie Dorn wife, Kitty (Creek) Dorn (1987) and a brother, Lowell. Masonic services were held on Friday, Aug 31, at 1 pm at the Hare Funeral Home. Burial was in the Brewster Cemetery.
