Porter, Susan K. (1949 - 1981)


Susan K. Porter, 32, of Route 1, Loyal, Clark County, died in an automobile accident Saturday morning, Oct. 3, 1981, 2 miles south of Riplinger in Clark County.


Funeral services for Mrs. Porter were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. Officiating was Rev. Douglas Groenewold, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery at Withee.


Susan Kathryn Klemetson was born at Stanley on Aug. 22, 1949 to Lawrence and Joyce (nee Long) Klemetson and attended Curtiss Elementary and Abbotsford High schools.


She was married to Clifford Porter on Oct. 21, 1967. She had lived in the Loyal area since her marriage. They were divorced.


Surviving her are two sons, Keith and Jamie and two daughters, Deanna and Tara, all at home her parents, Lawrence Klemetson of Curtiss; and Mrs. Joyce Malm of Superior; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Judy) Klimpke of Abbotsford, Mrs. Allen (Diane) Dunow of Dorchester; and her twin sister, Mrs. Larry (Lyn) Duda of Loyal; two brothers, Larry Kelemetson of Abbotsford; and Dennis Klemetson of Milan and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Long of Owen.


Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Ridpath, Tom Blasel, Todd Klimpke, Ricky Dunow, John Nowak and William Malm. Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, handled arrangements.
