Phillips, Joyce (1928 - 1981)
Mrs. Joyce Phillips, 52, of 2243 Culbertson road, Seymour, died
Sunday morning, Nov. 8, 1981, at Bellon Hospital in green Bay.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Rinka Funeral
Home, Loyal. Rev. Franklin Block of Seymour will officiate and
interment will be in the Loyal Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after 11 a.m., Wednesday, until the time
of the service, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal.
Joyce Herdrich was born on Dec. 28, 1928, at Loyal, Clark
County.
She married Orville Phillips on June 12, 1947, at Iowa. She lived
in the Seymour area for 21 years.
She was a member of Seymour United Methodist Church, where she
taught Sunday School for many years.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Cheryl) Doxtator of
DePere, Wis., Ms. Charla Phillips of Tokyo, Japan and Mrs. Gary
(Valerie) Carrick of Seymour two sons, Warren of Sturgeon Bay and
Glenn of Kimberly her mother, Mrs. Anita Herdrich of Greenwood one
sister, Mrs. Evelyn Cain of Cashmere, Wash. one brother, Wayne of
Greenwood and seven grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Orville, on April 27,
1966.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, is handling local arrangements.
