Anderson, Minnie (1906 - 1981)
Funeral Services for Minnie Anderson, 75, of the Clark County Home,
Owen, were at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, at Rinka Funeral Home,
Loyal.
Mrs. Anderson disappeared from the Health Care Center on Aug. 22,
1981, and was found by some deer hunters on Nov. 22, 1981.
Officiated at the service was Rev. Samuel Kochel, pastor of Our
Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Burial was in the Town of Seif
Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Minnie Berthold was born on Sept. 22, 1906, to Herman and Louise
(nee Gorsinger) Berthold. She received her education at the Town of
Globe School.
She was married on Sept. 2, 1933, to Harvey Grop. He died in 1962.
Her second marriage was to Mike Anderson on Nov. 29, 1958. He died
in 1966.
She farmed all her life in the Town of Seif and entered the Clark
County Health Care Center at Owen in 1975.
Surviving her is one brother, Walter Berthold of Loyal.
Preceding her in death were her husband her parents five brothers
and one sister.
