Gotter, Theresa (1890 - 1981)


Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Gotter, 91, formerly of Loyal, Clark County, who has been residing at Oconomowoc, were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.

Mrs. Gotter died at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, 1981, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Officiating at the service was Rev. Joseph R. Kraly. Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Theresa Lautenbach was born on Oct. 18, 1890, in the Granton Area to Julius and Emma (nee Beer) Lautenbach. She received her education at Granton Area Schools.

She was married to Ferdinand Gotter on Jan. 16, 1912, at Granton. He died on Aug. 9, 1970.

After their marriage, they lived in various areas in Central Wisconsin, where her husband was employed as a cheesemaker. For the past four years she had been living with her son in Wales, Wis.

The Gotters celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1961.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving her are one son, Romaine of Wales two brothers, Reinhart Lautenbach of Neillsville and ewald Lautenbach of Milwaukee two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her husband, several brothers and sisters and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers were Walter Krahn, Erwin and Verland Dux, Erwin and Norbert Noeldner and Herbert Hinklemann. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
