Fischer, Raymond (1917 - 1982)
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. for
Raymond Fischer, 64, of Riplinger.
Mr. Fischer died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1982, at the Clark County
Health Care Center, Owen.
Rev. David Ault officiated at services at St. John's Lutheran
Church, Riplinger. Burial was in the church cemetery, with dale and
Doug Seefeldt, Richard and Ron Oestreich, Woodrow Schmutzler, Sr.
and Woodrow Schmutzler, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Rux Funeral
Home, Spencer, handled arrangements.
Raymond Fischer was born on March 26, 1917, at Wis. Rapids to
Walter and Bertha (nee Koch) Fischer. He was self-employed in the
logging business. He was married to Betty Schofield.
Survivors include two sons, Rodney of Unity and Douglas of Spencer
one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Penny) Schmutzler of Riplinger his
mother, Mrs. Bertha Fischer of Colby eight grandchildren one
brother, Donald of Unity and five sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Violet)
Seefeldt of Unity, Mrs. Cyrell (Florence) Adler of Grays Lake,
Ill., Mrs. Irving (Jane) Bennett of Wis. Rapids, Mrs. Orville
(Geraldine) Vick of Grays Lake, Ill. and Darlyne Meer of Colby.
Preceding him in death were one daughter one son his father, Walter
Fischer one brother and one sister.
