Hawley, Roger L. (1936 - 1982)
Roger Lee Hawley, 45, of 402 Elm St., Combine
Locks, formerly of Loyal and Marshfield, died Monday afternoon,
March 1, 1982, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 4, at St. Paul's
Catholic Church in Combined Locks, with the Rev. Robert Vandenberg
officiating. A military service followed.
Roger Hawley was born April 15, 1936, at Greenwood, Clark County
and attended the Loyal and Marshfield Public Schools. He served in
the U.S. Navy. He married the former Dianne Sauer, Marshfield. They
would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Sept.
1982.
Roger was a barber in Kimberly for 10 years prior to becoming a
salesman for Aerial Beauty and Barber Supplies of Marinett.
He is survived by his wife, Deanne a daughter, Wendy Lee and two
sons, Kevin and Bruce, all at home four brothers, Jack, Wausau Jim,
Milwaukee Tom, Nicholas and Dale, Mequon and five sisters, Lois
Tompkins of Osseo, Mrs. Marvin (June) Matowitz of Neenah, Dawn
Scheller of Loyal, Mrs. Jack (Sue) Rudy of Crete, Ill., Mrs. Jerry
(Doreen) Newhouse of Neenah.
He was predeceased by a son, Timothy John and his parents, Dale and
Lillian (Kurtzheim) Hawley, Loyal.
