Joyce, Olga (1927 - 1982)


Funeral services for Mrs. William (Olga) Joyce, 55, of Route 1, Loyal, Clark County, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 10, at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.

Mrs. Joyce died Monday, June 7, 1982, at her home.

Officiating at the service will be Rev. Margaret Shepherd of First United Church of Christ, Owen. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Friends may call after 4 p.m., Wednesday, at Maurina Funeral Home, Owen.

Olga Kohniak was born on Feb. 7, 1927, at Lublin. She attended Withee Area Schools.

She and William Joyce were married on July 6, 1947, at Lublin. They farmed in the Town of York from 1947 until 1976, and later moved to the Town of Beaver.

She is survived by her husband, William two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Helen) Sachs of Loyal and Mrs. Thomas (Dawn) Weyer of Greenwood two brothers, Alex Kohniak and Mike Kohniak, both of Chicago one sister, Mrs. John (Anna) Nisula of Spencer and two grandsons.

Preceding her in death were three brothers and her parents, Joseph and Cecelia Kohniak.

Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, is handling arrangements.
