Pernsteiner, Jay R. (1957 - 1982)
Funeral services for Jay R. Pernsteiner, 25, Route 1, Loyal, Town
of Beaver, Clark County will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 8, at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Officiating will be Rev.
James Logan. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
Mr. Pernsteiner was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday, July
5, 1982.
Visitations will be after 4 p.m., Wednesday, at Rinka Funeral Home,
Loyal.
Jay Pernsteiner was born at Marshfield on Jan. 13, 1957, to Chet
and Clara (nee Riehle) Pernsteiner. He was educated at Loyal
Parochial School and graduated from Loyal High School in 1975.
He ran Pernsteiner Oil Company for two years and at the time of his
death had been farming in the Town of Beaver.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Pernsteiner of
Loyal five sister, Mrs. Judy Harder of Loyal, Mrs. Joanne Nacker of
Colby, Jeanine of Loyal, Janell and Jill, at home five brothers,
John of Loyal, Jeff, Jerry, Jesse and Jack, all at home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dallas Nelson, Rod Gardner, Chris
Smith, Dave Ayres, Pat Englebretson and Dale Alexander. Rinka
Funeral Home, Loyal, is handling arrangements.
