Our Kemnow family moved to Clark County, Wisconsin around 1869 after immigrating from Prussia. Their surname was frequently incorrectly recorded as Kennow. The family first lived in Monroe County and later, in Clark County.
Nan Decker was my aunt on my fathers side of the family, William A. and Sadie Dorthea Kemnow were my father's parents. Nan was born on a farm in the Owen vicinity. Dad moved out to Oregon following World War II and settled in Salem, OR where I was born. Dad and mom owned and operated a Hardware and Sporting Good Store in Yoncalla, OR until theirs deaths in 1996 (mom) and 2002 (dad). Richelle A. Kemnow

Nanette "Nan" Blanche (Kemnow) Decker was born 15 July, 1928 in Owen, WI and died 12 Aug. 2007 at the age of 79 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, WI.
Frederick Kennow/Kemnow was born 5 Jan. 1950 and died in October, 1983.
Jesse Kennow/Kemnow was born 17 May 1917 and died in November, 1978.
