Julius Henry & Emma H. (Mayer) Ware
Greenwood, Clark Co., WI
Julius H. was born March 15, 1851 in Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wisconsin, the son of Asaph R. and Marcia Lucretia Ware. Emma Mayer was also born there, Jan. 28, 1861. They married October, 1879 and made their home in Stockbridge until the fall of 1882 when they moved to Clark County, Wisconsin, settling on a farm 5 1/2 miles south of Greenwood. Julian H. Ware, was hurt at a *barn raising on the Huntzicker farm June 9, 1896 and died twenty-four hours later from his injuries. Emma died at the state hospital at Oshkosh, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1909 at 6 p.m. She lived 48 years, 11 months and 26 days. Both of them are buried in the Greenwood City Cemetery.
Their daughter, Wilhelmina Marcia "Minnie" (b. 31 Oct 1879, Stockbridge, Calumet, WI), became the wife of Harry Heaslett. He was the son of Maxwell and Emma E. (Hewett) Heaslett.
Julius Ware Jr. (b. 29 Aug 1881, Stockbridge, Calumet, WI, d. 31 Mar 1951, Wolf Point, MT) lived in Eaton Township. He married Miriam A., (b. 5 Jun 1883, York, Clark, WI, d. Wolf Point, MT). She was the daughter of James Albert and Nancy Jane (McKenzie) Dunn. Julius and Miriam later moved to Montana where they are both buried. (see note below)

Chas. Pratt has given possession of his place to Thos. Rees and next Tuesday will leave with J. (Julius) G. Ware and wife for Oregon to see the country. His family will probably spend the summer at their former home in New York State. Greenwood Gleaner, 9 May 1902
