Cornelius "Con" Bacon/Bakken
Owen, Clark Co., Wisconsin
Corneilius was born at Five Points, Richland Co., Wisconsin Dec. 6, 1882, the son of Mary (Munson) and Christian Hans Bacon/Bakken. He moved with his family to Owen, WI in 1912. They settled on a farm south of town. He was one of eleven children. He boarded as a single man and worked as a laborer in the lumberyards in Jump River and the box factory in Owen, Wisconsin. He died Nov. 26, 1956 in the Town of Fremont, Clark Co., WI and was buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Owen, Wisconsin.
