Bollech, John (21 MAY 1816 - 13 MAY 1906)
John Bollech, a pioneer resident of Marathon Co., died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Banesch, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 13, 1906, at the age of 90 years. He was born at Christianberg, District of Ludweis, Bohemia, Austria, May 21, 1816, came to America in 1882 and settled in the town of Holton, Marathon Co., and was engaged in farming until some time ago. His wife died 23 years ago. The deceased leaves three children to mourn his death, namely Mrs. Mary Banesch and Mrs. Anna Tanzer of the town of Holton, and Mrs. Carolina Behringer of Minnesota, one son died some years ago. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning from St. Louis Catholic Church, Rev. Birsner officiating. We extend our deepest sympathy to those in their sorrow.
