Plieske, Frank (1818 - 23 Aug 1897)
Frank Plieske, one of the early settlers here
(Clark County), died Monday night of old age. Mr. Plieske was the
first brick mason to come to Neillsville, and he built the first
brick building that was erected here, the store now occupied by
Marsh Bros., he also built the court house, the high school
building and a number of other buildings. Mrs. Pleiske, for 22
years, was associated with Ketel Bros. Co., being one of the firm.
He was 79 years of age at the time of his death. The funeral was
held this forenoon from the Catholic Church.
