Green, Fannie (24 Apr 1855 - 19 Dec 1898)
Miss Fannie Green died at the residence of
her brother J. J. Green in the town of Levis, Clark County, Monday,
Dec. 19, 1898, of typhoid fever aged 43 years, 7 months and 25
days.
Deceased was born in the town of Onalaska, La Crosse County, coming
to this county with her brother and family about twelve years ago.
While nursing a family with typhoid fever, she caught the dread
malady, and after a five weeks struggle, passed to that home above
where sickness and trouble is not known. She was a true Christian
and a member of the Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held from the home this forenoon at 10 o'clock,
interment in the Levis Cemetery. She leaves four brothers and two
sisters to mourn her demise.
