Word was received here Sunday last that Mrs. Ed Kimball had died very suddenly at her home in St. Paul of Heart failure. She had been ailing a few days prior from a slight attack of la grippe, but the attending physician stated that she would be all right in a couple of days.

Maggie Bruley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruley, was born in 1867, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 1898 aged 31 years. She was married about ten years ago to E. C. Kimball of this city (Neillsville, Clark County) and they resided here till about six years ago, when they removed to St. Paul. Mr. Kimball is conductor on the Omaha Railway between St. Paul and Duluth.

Funeral was held yesterday at the old home at Melrose, Jackson County, interment in the village cemetery. A husband and two children are left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and loving mother.
