ROBERT DUDA
Robert A. Duda, 43, St. Paul, formerly of
Black River Falls, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994, at
2 p.m. at the Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. Rev. Allen
Saugstad officiated. Burial was held in the Riverside Cemetery.
Full military rites were accorded.
Robert A. Duda was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Greenwood Clark
County, to Donald and Doris (nee Henchen) Duda. He was raised in
Greenwood and later served in the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Peggy
Drews-Millis, lived in Black River Falls from 1975 to 1982, when
they moved to St. Paul. While living in Black River Falls, he had
been employed at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. He
was also a semi-truck driver and was currently employed by
Transport Designs.
Survivors include his wife his mother and step-father, Doris and
Victor Diercks, Greenwood one son, Brian Duda, Spencer one
daughter, Melissa (Dave) Dix, Spencer one step-daughter, Shannah
Stewart, Black River Falls two step-sons, Shawn Stewart, Ford Hood,
Texas and Steve Burnett, St. Paul, Minn. two grandsons one sister,
Shirley (Roger) Kostick, Thorp two half-sisters, Pam (Leonard)
Owens and Cherrie (Todd) Richter, both of Clintonville one brother,
Larry (Lynn) Duda, Loyal and a half-brother, Ricky Diercks,
Greenwood.
He was preceded in death by his father.
