Bahr, August (1821 - 21 Jan 1899)


August Bahr died at his home in the town of Weston, Clark County very suddenly Saturday evening last. He was sitting in a chair, seemingly in good health, and apparently fell asleep. When notice by the family he was dead. Mr. Bahr was quite aged. He came with his family to this country from Germany, and has been a resident of this county for the past twenty-five years. He leaves a wife and three children, Ferdinand, Albert and Fredericka Huntley of La Crosse. Funeral occurred Tuesday of this week. He was a well respected citizen and the blow is a deep one to the family.
