Willan, Alice (1883 - 24 Jun 1899)
The following notice, taken from the Juneau County Argus (New
Lisbon), will interest many Neillsville, Clark County friends. It
is published by request:
"At the residence of Mr. Willan, of this place, on June 26, 1899,
occurred the funeral services of Miss Alice Willan, of Neillsville.
The many friends of Rev. and Mrs. Willan sympathize deeply with
them in their bereavement. The writer understands they have lost
two other children, and now, a third, a young lady of sixteen
bright summers. What a comfort to you, dear friends, to know she
was thoroughly prepared to meet her Savior, having given
three-fourths of her life to him. Your will miss her greatly, but
May you think, Heaven is the brighter by your loss. Miss Pinkerton
and Miss Susie Bell Smith, of Mazomanie, aunt and cousin of
deceased, and Mrs. Booth, of Milwaukee, aunt of deceased, attended
the funeral. (Rev. R. L. Bunyard)
