ALFRED KUESTER
Alfred Kuester, 80, Hillsboro, died Friday,
Sept. 2, 1994, at the Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse. Funeral
services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1994, at 10:30 a.m. at the
Picha Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Rev. Conrad Prell officiated. Burial
was in the Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield.
Alfred Kuester was born on July 23, 1914, to Gustave and Emma (nee
Bakerburg) Kuester, in Fairfax, Minn. He grew to adulthood in
Loyal, Clark County. He was united in marriage to Isla Nelson on
Jan. 9, 1945, in Waukesha. He was a mechanic at Aunt Nellie's
Canning Factory for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and
fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Isla, Hillsboro seven children, Karen
(Robert) O'Connor, Milwaukee Sherry (Jack) Fulwiler, Loyal Mary
Rohleder, Greenfield Larry (Karen) Davidson, San Jose, Cal. Michael
(Sandra) Kuester, Janesville Dennis (Rita) Kuester, Hillsboro and
Thomas (JoAnn) Kuester, Hillsboro 21 grandchildren nine
great-grandchildren four sisters, Leona of Ohio Lillian, of
Greenwood Minnie of North Dakota and Florence of Tomahawk and three
brothers, Henry of Montello Harry, of Tomahawk and Edwin of
Rhinelander.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother Gustave and a
