Wagner, John (1827 - 22 Nov 1899)
John Wagner died Nov. 22, 1899, at his home
in Pine Valley, Clark County, after a five weeks' sickness. He was
born in Pomern, Germany, in 1827, and came to America in 1885,
settling in the town of Pine Valley where he has since resided. He
leaves a wife and five grown children, besides other near relatives
to mourn his death. Funeral services were held Sunday under the
auspices of the Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. The
esteem in which he was held was indicated by the great number of
his neighbors and friends who attended the burial.
