John Phillips died at the residence of his
sister, Mrs. David Taylor, in the town of Washburn, Clark County,
Nov. 30, 1899, after an illness of five weeks, from typhoid fever.
Funeral services conducted by Rev. G. W. Luther, were held at the
Shortville Presbyterian Church, Saturday, Dec. 3.
