Evans, Fanny (16 Nov 1824 - 29 Jan 1900)
Mrs. Fanny Evans died at her home in the town of Pine Valley, Clark
County, Monday evening, Jan. 29, 1900, aged seventy-five years, two
months and thirteen days. She was born in Onondaga, N.Y., and came
to Washington County, Wis. in 1846, and came to Clark County in
1867. She was married at West Bend in 1843 to David Evans who died
about twelve years ago. They had seven children, five of whom
survive her, namely, Eugene and Willferd Evans, Mrs. Jennie Bissel,
Mrs. Louisa Blau, and Mrs. Julia Hubbard, also ten grandchildren.
She has one brother John Rusco. Her life was spent in devotion to
the care of her children and grandchildren, and her work in life
was well done. The funeral will be held today at the M.E. Church in
Neillsville at 10 o'clock a.m.
