JOHN GRAHAM POIRIER SERVICES HELD
John Graham Poirier, 69, died at his home in
Greenwood, Clark County Saturday morning of an apparent heart
attack.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hill Funeral
Home in Greenwood, with the Rev. Eugene Antrim officiating. Burial
took place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
John Poirier was born Sept. 23, 1905 in Fish Creek in Door County.
He came to Greenwood when he was 14 years old and has lived there
ever since.
He is survived by one brother, Ezra Poirier of Ojai, Calif., six
sisters, Mrs. Bessie Long of Antigo, Mrs. Imogene Henchen of
Neillsville, Mrs. Hugh (Ione) Martin of Merrillan, Mrs. Albert
(Pearl) Cox of West Allis, Mrs. Harold (Adeline) Boettcher of Green
Bay, and Mrs. Sybil Filipaik of Fond du Lac.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Poirier, John Graham (23 September 1905 – 7 June 1975)
John Graham Poirier, 69, Greenwood, died at his home Saturday morning of an
apparent heart attack. He had been dismissed the day before, Friday from the
hospital.
Mr. Poirier, son of John B. N. and Bessie Graham Poirier, was born September 23,
1905, in Fish Creek, Door County. At the age of 14 he cane with his parents to
Greenwood and had resided in the area ever since.
Surviving is a brother, Ezra, of Ojal, Ca., six sisters: Mrs. Bessie long of
Antigo, Mrs. Imogene Henchen of Neillsville, Mrs. Hugh (Ione) Martin of
Merrillan, Mrs. Albert (Pearl) Cox of West Allis, Mrs. Harold (Adeline)
Boettcher of Green Bay and Mrs. Sybil Filipiak of Fond du Lac.

Funeral services for John Graham Poirier, 69, were held June 10, from the Hill
Funeral Home. The Rev. Eugene Antrim, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church
officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hugh Christie, Fred Decker, Albert Neuenfeldt, Wilbur Stewart,
Louis Henchen and Anton Perushek.
