O'Brien, Alma Lee (14 Feb 1898 - 15 Aug
1900)
Died, at Granton, Clark County, Wis., Aug. 15, 1900, at the age of
two years, six months and one day, of cholera infantum. Alma Lee
O'Brien, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. O'Brien of Granton, and first
grandchild of P.A. Cross and wife, of York. Little Alma will be
greatly missed by her many friends in Granton, where she was loved
by all who knew her. She was a bud of brightness, too sweet to
last, and the Reaper came early and cut the bud from its tender
stem to blossom in heaven. Twice while dying she waved her hand as
if answering the angels. Funeral was held at the Visgar Church in
York sermon by Rev. A. B. Scovill, of Neillsville.
