Sterns, Stella Viola (12 Feb 1900 - 21 Dec 1900)

Stella Viola, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sterns, died at their home in Biwabik, Minn., Friday, Dec. 21, 1900, after an illness of only two days, from pneumonia. The parents brought the little one to Neillsville, Clark County for burial, the funeral being held Monday forenoon, at the residence of Mrs. C. W. Sterns, the baby's grandmother. Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiated. Little Stella was born Feb. 12, 1900. During the summer Mrs. Sterns and the baby visited with friends and relatives here and in the town of Grant, and everywhere the child is remembered for its beauty and its sweet winning little ways. The grief-stricken parents have the sympathy of all but no sympathy, no words of comfort or of cheer can at this time brighten the somber cloud of sorrow that has come so suddenly upon their home, nor fill the longing, aching void in their lives not till Time, the great healer, shall have assuaged the keen anguish and touched with his enchanting wand the sorrow of today, transforming them into sweet memories, which like old keep-sakes, stir the soul almost with a solemn joy. The father, mother and other relatives wish to express their appreciation of the kindness so freely offered by friends on every hand.
