Palmer, Rev. Harold (29 November 1898-16 February 1981)

THORP-- The Rev. Harold Palmer, 82, Route 3, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thelma Sutton, in Haines City, Florida. The retired Baptist pastor resided there during winter months.

Services will be Thursday at Thorp Funeral Home. The Rev. W. G. Copham of Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood, will officiate. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, rural Thorp.

The Rev. Mr. Palmer pastored in Chippewa Falls and Fall Creek, and prior to that in Minnesota Churches. During his retirement, he served in various capacities at Missionary Baptist Church and also taught in Marshfield churches.

He was born November 29, 1898 in Backus, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, and daughter.
